From the founding days of Bastyr, and indeed from Dr. Bastyr's own personal philosophy, the University has sought to not only teach Natural Medicine, but to contribute to the research base for the modalities and interventions that have been taught for generations.
From the early decades of the University you can see the robust curriculum has always included a focus on science and research; the Bastyr Libraries has a collection of some of the earliest available curricula, some of which have been digitized and are available here on this page.
