Although PubMed and PsycINFO contain some articles relating to Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) subjects, both are primarily conventional medicine databases.
The database, Examine, focuses on evidence-based nutrition, herb/supplement and health information. Content includes health topics, study summaries and study deep dives, which discuss findings in detail. The Human Effect Matrix grades levels of evidence.
Unlike PsycInfo and PubMed, Examine is a topical database so you don't need to create a search strategy. Click on a category of interest or enter a term or phrase in the search query box such as insomnia.
