PsycINFO Review

PsycINFO is the premier database for the field of psychology; produced by the American Psychological Association (APA). It contains journal articles, book chapters, encyclopedias, and dissertations. Full text content is provided through the Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection and PsycArticles database.

In Health Psychology 1, we used PsycINFO to find full-text, and peer reviewed articles in addition to setting certain limits to narrow our searches.

PsycINFO Thesaurus and Subject Headings

Remember learning about using subject headings through the MeSH Database in PubMed?  Now, let's look at how to access subject headings through the Thesaurus tool in PsycINFO:
