Plagiarism Tutorial and Quiz

Plagiarism is essentially scholarly theft.

It's too easy to commit plagiarism if you aren't disciplined in the way you take notes, compile information, and write your papers.  The BU Library's Plagiarism Tutorial and Quiz is designed to take you through the basics, and allow you to test your understanding of what plagiarism is, and how to avoid it.

Citation

A big part of academic writing, and avoiding plagiarism, is being able to correctly format a complete citation.

The BU Library's Write & Cite guide provides information on the major citation styles, including some examples of how to cite the most commonly used resources.  For DAOM, we will be using APA.
