Research databases, such as PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, Cochrane Library, etc. provide the most current clinical research.

Point-of-care tools, such as ClinicalKey, PIER (American College of Physicians), and UpToDate, offer filtered information that is also useful, but there are often delays in integrating assessments of new studies.

Databases such as PubMed, AMED, CINAHL and Embase provide citations to clinical trials that have been completed, and the results published; the following resources compile both ongoing and completed clinical trials.
