Citing resources in APA

Whenever you refer to information that you gathered from an outside source, you need to ensure you are accurately indicating where that information originated.

At Bastyr, we do this using either AMA or APA Style manuals.  For this class, you will be using APA Style.

APA style provides all the guidelines for how to include an in-text citation, and how to format a full reference for the end of your paper.

Not including proper and complete citations and references is considered plagiarism, whether intentional or not, so make sure you check this guide to acknowledge your sources with a full APA citation and reference.
