Include clear sections - usually the same sections you'd find in a research paper:

Introduction
Methods
Results
Conclusions
References

Use PowerPoint to easily create a poster layout - there are many free templates online to get you started!

Remember to include titles and keys for any graphs and data

Keep a consistent, easy to read font

Keep color schemes simple and easy to read

Avoid using images for decoration - include meaningful images that illustrate your point, and always cite your sources
