Where can I find the research?

PubMed
Homeopathy is a MeSH (medical subject heading). Set appropriate filters such as date, on the left-hand side. Don't set too many as the body of research is relatively small. See this LibGuide to set up an account and receive email alerts when new studies meeting the parameters you've set are published.

Embase
European-based with Medline (PubMed) overlap and also thousands of unique journals. Homeopathy is an Emtree term (subject heading). Run a search and set limits on the left-hand side. Register for an account; after you've run your search, select Set Email alert.

Search for new, obscure and breaking information. Search from the Advanced screen and try the search techniques below for the best results..

  • Put phrases in " " 
  • use an asterisk * to replace an unknown word or letter
  • Search for sites run by the government or education institutions
    • Echinacea site:.gov      OR     Echinacea site:.edu
  • search a specific site by typing you search word and the site you want to search like this:
    • Echinacea site:unitedplantavers.org 
  • use a tilde in front of a word to include synonyms
    • ~echinacea
