Resources for Preceptors

As a preceptor, what library resources are available to you?

Preceptors are welcome to use the library website, which includes research guides, tutorials, and access to online resources.

When browsing our databases lists off-campus you may notice certain databases have a padlock icon after the title.

Databases with a lock icon are only available to full-time faculty, staff, and students. The licenses for these resources do not allow preceptors to access them off-campus.

You can however access all resources if on-campus.

What library services are available to preceptors?

Preceptors are welcome to make use of our research and reference consultation services - available via email, phone, instant message, and video conference - available via the library homepage.

What extra resources are available to health professionals licensed in WA state?

Heal-WA, an evidence-based suite of resources paid for by licensing fees, is available to eligible practitioners (including Midwives) in Washington State. Many of the databases are ones the Bastyr Library subscribes to, including Medline, CINAHL, and DynaMed. Registration required.
